Walton Site Terms

Purpose of the Site

This private reference site points visitors toward official Walton County release records, Florida corrections resources, and outside research tools. It does not store government records. It cannot confirm custody, release a person, file a request for a visitor, or alter an agency record.

Acceptable Use Rules

Visitors must use the site lawfully and without harming other people or the service. In particular, a visitor must not:

• Break a law or violate another person’s rights.
• Stalk, harass, threaten, impersonate, or intimidate anyone.
• Use site information for hiring, housing, lending, insurance, or another regulated decision.
• Attempt access to accounts, servers, data, or controls without permission.
• Run bots, scrapers, or automated collection tools against the site.
• Disrupt access, overload services, or interfere with another visitor.

No Consumer Reports

This site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act and supplies no background check, credit report, or consumer report. Advertising and search partners linked here do not turn this site into a screening service. Visitors agree not to use any content or result for:

• Hiring, firing, promotion, or another employment decision.
• Tenant selection, housing access, or lease decisions.
• Creditworthiness, lending, or insurance pricing.
• Licensing, permits, or government-benefit eligibility.
• Any other purpose regulated by the FCRA.

Links and Outside Services

Links may lead to sheriff and corrections systems, court portals, legal resources, federal locators, and third-party search tools. A link is not an endorsement. This site does not control an outside service’s content, privacy practices, terms, prices, results, or availability.

Service Provided As Is

All content and functions are supplied “as is” and “as available.” No warranty is made that:

• Information is complete, correct, or current.
• The site will remain available without interruption.
• Every error, bug, or security weakness is absent.
• A partner search will find every relevant record.

Custody status and government records can change quickly. Nothing published here is an official statement by WCSO, FDC, the Walton Clerk, or another government body.

Limits on Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the site, its owners, and its contributors are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from access, inability to access, reliance on content, or use of an outside service.

User Indemnification

A visitor agrees to defend and hold the site, its owners, and contributors harmless from claims, losses, costs, and reasonable legal fees caused by that visitor’s misuse of the site or violation of these terms.

Ownership of Site Material

Site text, original graphics, logos, layout, and code belong to Walton County Released Inmates or the applicable content partner. They may not be copied, republished, distributed, or modified without written permission, except where law expressly allows.

Revisions to These Terms

These terms may change at any time. A revision takes effect when posted. Continued use after that posting means acceptance of the revised terms.

Access May Be Revoked

Access may be limited, suspended, or blocked at any time, with or without notice, especially when activity threatens the site, its users, or another person.

Florida Law Controls

Florida law governs these terms, including applicable principles of the Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act. A dispute must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in Florida.

Severability

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in force. The affected term will be adjusted only as much as needed to make it valid.
